Ayden and Liberty O’Quinn, 11 and 10 years old, competed in the North Carolina BJJ, Gi, and No Gi events among 700 Competitors and 30 Teams.
Both had an excellent performance, with Ayden excelling, winning two Gold, two Open (Absolute) divisions, beautiful rings, and one Bronze. He fought 13 matches, won 10 by submission, two by points, and lost one.
Liberty got a Gold and four Silver and also competed several times.
Due to their results, our UNION JIU JITSU TEAM placed 6th among 30 Teams in the kids & teens division with just two Competitors!

Meanwhile, at the ADCC in New Jersey, our 16-year-old blue belt Kostas Sarapnickas won the No Gi division against very tough opponents.
In both events, our Competitors did not have a Coach in their corner but the full support of their parents.
When I post “We Dare to Compare,” I have concrete facts supporting my words.
Simply put: We teach our students the Real Jiu Jitsu, focused on Sport and Self Protection.
We have no Participation Trophies and no kindergarten classes.
All of them must show technical progress and proper behavior and just get their promotion on their own merits.
The ones that compete earned extra points according to the results but also just to step in and carry on our banner.
For sure, we aren’t one of those “water down” ” MacDojo”, money oriented.
We are a very selected School that teaches Full spectrum Unleashed Gracie & Brazilian Jiu Jitsu For Sport & Self Protection plus Vital Judo for Jiu-Jitsu.
Our goal is to build Self confidence, Discipline, Determination and Teamwork ,so our students can be well prepared not for our Martial Art only but above all, for Life itself.
OSU!
